Junior Controller

There’s a lot of us here at Mito Group, and we’re doing a lot of stuff: we create campaigns and develop smart digital solutions for fantastic clients across the globe. To satisfy Business Unit leaders' insatiable appetite for reports and decision support materials, we need a Controlling team, since at a company this size, there is plenty of data, but we have to make sure we use it wisely. That’s where you come in. If you’re proactive, reliable, precsie (yes, that was a test), and love analytics stuff, join us as our new Junior Controller.

• Maintain and analyze existing analytics solutions through our business intelligence system
• Actual - Budget comparison, analysis-check
• Participate in the preparation of annual, quarterly and monthly financial reports
• Preparatory work in the performance of monthly closing tasks
• Gather a technical understanding of the reporting layers
• Consult in the continued maintenance of the approved reporting and analytics toolset across the organization (aka. the other clever people in the building)

• Surprise: working with data will be a key part of your job. Knowing how to manage data using common tools such as Excel and SQL are essential.
• We need your holistic view, logic, and analytical skills, all at the same time. That means you can connect dots while juggling with different kind of systems and reports. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?
• You already have financial controlling experience - but don't worry, we will teach you the Mito specifics
• It is great if you are interested in business intelligence besides controlling
• You should find joy in consulting stakeholders on the appropriate use of data with analytics (we’ve read about people who actually like doing this)
• Besides your English, Hungarian knowledge will come in handy when you have to handle the daily communication in the team

• If Google App Script, MS SQL (maybe Power BI) ring a bell to you. Not an alarm bell, just a regular bell.
• If you know Maconomy, as you will have to use it a lot - we know, it is not the most common one, so if you have worked with other ERPs already, you will learn it easily

• This is a full-time job, but if you’d rather do it part-time (six hours a day at least), that’s also fine with us.
• We want to make sure to provide a way of working that adapts to your needs and fits your daily tasks as well. As a rule of thumb, you will work two days per week from the office. The other three depend on you, your manager and the stuff you and your team are busy with.
