Senior Frontend Developer

At Mito Digital, our goal is to design and deliver human-centered, best-in-class digital solutions. We have been working with enterprises from around the globe for more than 10 years, in industries such as telco, lottery, ecommerce or aviation.

Our aviation team is looking for its next member: we would like to boost our flight deck with a Senior Frontend Developer, who is great at CSS, has a steady hand with JS and constantly keeps his eyes on the horizon (which comes in handy when you’re steering a plane). If you would like to work on a website with one of the brightest color-schemes in Hungary, and have expertise in AWS, Next.js, or serverless architecture, then we are definitely interested in talking to you.

• Implementing complex business logics, developing advanced frontend applications and related tasks.
• Building and coding large-scale web applications, single-page apps and websites on the frontend.
• Discussing technical solutions with other developers (yes, applying them would be great, too.)
• Participating in your peers’ code reviews. Don’t worry, if you do it well, they’re going to love you for it.
• Mentoring your less experienced peers to help them constantly do more, do it better. We are an advocate of development even when it comes to people.
• Improving usability by working with backend developers and UI/UX designers. We are also a big advocate of usability.

• Deep JavaScript knowledge (preferably ES6) and rock solid hands with HTML and CSS.
• Familiarity with cloud computing services, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with Next.js for server-rendered React applications
• When you hear "framework", you shouldn’t just think of jQuery - whatever else pops to your mind, we’d love to hear about it. We like Vue.js and React.js a lot, but if you ride any modern JavaScript framework, even better.
• Unit tests? We know you know what we’re talking about.
• We will need your expertise in RESTING APIs.
• A sharp eye: we receive pixel perfect graphic designs from our internal UI team and they will reward you with a lot of love (sometimes beers), if you build their designs perfectly.
• Stable English knowledge (and hungarian as well).

• are familiar with micro frontend,
• have experience with serverless architecture or functions, it would be a valuable asset to our team.
• know Typescript,
• love working independently, but are happy to share your knowledge with your team,
• are experienced and enjoy working in an agile workplace.
