As the Head of SMB Markets, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the SMB segment. You will lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and motivation to help them achieve their individual and team targets.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a sales strategy to penetrate the SMB market and achieve revenue targets
• Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance management
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business owners, decision-makers, and industry influencers
• Monitor market trends, identify new opportunities, and make recommendations for strategic business development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall company objectives
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to senior management
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform sales strategies and tactics
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience in sales leadership roles, particularly in the SMB market;
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies;
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to drive decision-making;
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders;
• Experience with CRM software and sales reporting;
• Knowledge of the payments industry or related fields is preferred, but not required.
