Job Description

The fast-paced changes in social media pose a constant challenge for agencies and brands. Keeping up means regularly updating processes, roles, skills, and tools. Using methods designed for other purposes, like TV campaigns, won't work for social-first communication. Revamping processes, developing new roles and skills, and seamlessly integrating new tools into the workflow is crucial.

To shape the future of social media services, we are seeking a Social Media Account Director with experience in managing clients and the social media account team. This individual should also be willing to be more involved in creating financial amp; business plans, monitoring productivity, and acting as a focal point in tender preparations.

Requirements

Your tasks will be

  • Establishing and forming the social media account team in collaboration with the Head of Social Media amp; Content.
  • Handling financial and business planning, from managing social and content hub expenses to evaluating revenue streams, such as up-selling or participating in pitches.
  • Leading and mentoring the social account team while overseeing their work
  • Supervising projects and deadlines: we know this might not sound so glorious but working in client services is all about punctuality and delivering the (seemingly) impossible, isn’t it?
  • Being the gentle but firm helping hand who guides both clients as well as their own team towards the right directions for the project.
  • Shape the future of social media services in collaboration with the Head of Social Media amp; Content.

We need you to have

  • Ideally, 4-5 years of experience at a creative agency, but we’re also excited if you’re joining us from the client side. The important thing is that you know the ins and outs of what agencies do, both from a professional and a business perspective.
  • Native Hungarian and flawless English - speaking, thinking, writing, reading.
  • A deep understanding of social media, online and digital marketing.
  • An unorthodox amp; creative mindset when it comes to planning and problem solving.
  • An extraordinary sense of how clients work
  • Influencer capabilities: managing your team and working your magic to sync with clients.
