Job Description

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

Supervise Cash Planning / Forecasting, Landing

Working Capital Monitoring /Management

Cash Management: Combining information in the cash forecast and working capital management activities, making sure that sufficient cash is available for operational needs

Responsible for performing General Ledger/Close the Books/Corporate Income tax /Reporting/P&L and Balance Sheet Reconciliation/Offshore supervision for the entities in scope.

Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

Ensure adherence to Nissan Europe’s policies and procedures, including internal controls, group accounting rules and corporate compliance

Participate in transverse projects such as IS applications implementations, migration of accounting activities to SSC Nearshore and process simplifications/automations.

Liaise with SSC Offshore & other Nissan Europe entities for finance projects and accounting issue escalation

Job Specification

Minimum Education & Qualifications

Qualified Accountant or Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting/Economy

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Treasury accounting within Shared Service Center, BPO

Knowledge & Practice of international accounting standard (IFRS) is a plus

Specific technical skills - Software knowledge:

Good knowledge of MS Office (specifically MS Excel) and SAP

Very good understanding of end to end Finance and Accounting processes

Soft skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the right level of detail

Ability to influence stakeholders, to proactively make proposals,

Strong collaborative skills: ability to build and maintain strong relationships with peers and leaders by building trust and credibility

Active listening skills to understand business needs

Ability to work in a matrix organization, directing individuals without reporting authority

Flexible, able to both work independently and in a team environment
