THE JOB
This is an exciting opportunity to work with highly-skilled engineers in a fast-paced technology-based environment. Reporting into the Warehouse Manager you will support and assist the operational business to grow and deliver its services around the world
Responsibilities:
- Perform porterage tasks as assigned by the Management Team
- Use Stock Control functions as assigned by the Management Team
- Process requests from operational staff and pick items from warehouse
- Working with Logistics Team and external couriers to arrange deliveries and dispatches, as well as receiving deliveries
- Arrange deliveries of equipment for various operational departments
- Support engineering and project teams in transporting kits between locations in the Budapest office and warehouse
- Prioritise workload to ensure that delivery deadlines are met
- Follow Health and Safety requirements and actively encourage peers to follow these processes
- Testing and correct storage of PC components
- Monitor equipment safety records and sign-off checksheets
- Sorting and recycling of refuse, communicating with the Sony facilities teams to ensure the safe removal of refuse
- General organising and tidying of the warehouse
Requirements
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- The role requires an eagerness to learn new skills and gain new knowledge
- Must possess good communication and organisational skills
- English language (basic level); you will be time to time in communication with the team in the UK
- A technical grounding, ideally with a technology based high school qualifications or relevant professional experience
- Must demonstrate the ability to multitask, think independently and problem solve
- Must demonstrate a diligent amp; organised approach to resolving stock issues and supplying clear solutions, within the timescales available
- Must take responsibility for their own work, standards and training program
- Ideally has a knowledge of PC Components
- Previous use of stock management systems would be a bonus
- Flexibility to work outside of office hours
- Driving license required (B category)
