The RoleVeeva Systems is seeking to hire an Associate Product Manager to help drive innovation with Veeva OpenData, a best-in-class solution for Life Science’s reference data.The Associate Product Manager will create email content using our proprietary tools, work with our engineering team on product enhancements, and act as a primary point of contact for our sales, services, and marketing organizations. The Associate Product Manager will conduct data analysis to determine the status of the email product offering, as well as identify data enhancements.Specific to our email offering, the Associate Product Manager will expand the offering, engage with email cleansing and fulfillment vendors, educate customers about email consent compliance, minimize hard and soft bounced emails, and identify and implement best practices.The ideal candidate blends product management skills and an analytical mind with a passion for data and innovation in the Life Sciences industry.What You’ll Do
- Design an innovative email product approach based on industry trends
- Conduct data analyses to determine the status of product offering, as well as identify data enhancements. Drive strategic direction of the Veeva OpenData Email product.
- Increase the quantity and quality of emails across Veeva OpenData
- Support all internal teams, including Sales, QA, Development, and Services, as a subject matter expert
- Co-manage the product roadmap of OpenData product enhancements and releases specific to email
- Interact with Development Engineers on product enhancements
- Interact with email cleansing and fulfillment vendors on supporting Veeva requirements
- Develop client-ready presentations, use cases, and value propositions
- Communicate the OpenData Email product value to internal and external customers
Requirements
- University degree
- 2 years+ coordinating projects with multi-disciplinary stakeholders
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), Google Suite
- Familiar with email syntax rules, email domain permissions, and email vendors
- Comfortable working with data and making data-driven decisions
- Exposure to SQL query writing
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Organized and able to manage multiple timelines, projects, and schedules
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
Nice to Have
- Experience with one or more BI tools e.g. Tableau, Spotfire, Qlik, etc.
- Experience with Atlassian products, such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience with healthcare/pharmaceutical data
