The Role
The Consultant (Technical Services) will be a member of the Veeva Systems Professional Services group, consulting with international clients in the Life Sciences industry. You will participate in business process due diligence, solution design, application customization, and documentation of end-user requirements to help deliver successful Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault implementations. This candidate will also contribute to the technical development to support customer requirements leveraging Salesforce.com development tools such as Apex, VisualForce, and Javascript.
Qualified candidates will be located in Budapest, Hungary, working with our strategic key accounts across EMEA. There are options for working from home and from our Budapest office, with some on-site consulting activities expected (once travel restrictions are lifted).

  • Provide subject matter expertise on the Veeva Systems applications, Salesforce.com Platform, and technical design
  • Development using VisualForce, Apex, and Javascript (provided by Salesforce.com)
  • Take complex client and vendor concepts and articulate them to audiences of varying perception levels
  • Design and Develop solutions based on customer requirements
  • This position is 50% Technical (drawing on technical and/or CRM product knowledge in advanced configurations of the Salesforce.com platform and development platforms), 30% Analysis, and 20% Project Management
Requirements
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical role
  • Experience with requirement analysis and consulting
  • Full lifecycle software implementation experience
  • Experience with the following development principles: OOP, MVC MVVM, RDMS
  • Experience with either Java or .NET
  • Experience with at least one high-level javascript frontend framework like React, Vue, Angular, Svelte
  • Data Transformation and Data Loading Tools
  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Work permit for the EU
Nice to Have
  • Experience with CRM or SFA solutions
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com configuration and technologies, including Visual Force, APEX, Lightning, Triggers, and API’s
  • Experience with database design, BPMN, and UML
