The RoleVeeva’s Technical Services team provides world-class development solutions for our customers in the Life Sciences Industry. As a Consultant, you will participate in solution design, application customisation, business process due diligence, and the documentation of end-user requirements to deliver successful implementations across Veeva’s Commercial Cloud (Vault and CRM).Qualified candidates will be located in Budapest, Hungary, working with our strategic key accounts across EMEA. There are options for working from home and from our Budapest office, with some on-site consulting activities expected (once travel restrictions are lifted).All EU nationalities or EU work permit holders are welcome to join our multi-cultural team.What You'll Do
- This position is 50% technical, 30% analysis, and 20% project management
- Participate in meetings with clients / senior management as the technical subject matter expert on Veeva Vault and related integrations
- Design and develop solutions based on customer requirements (Java experience required)
- Convey complex client and vendor concepts to internal stakeholders with varying perception levels
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical/development role
- Full lifecycle software implementation experience, particularly with CRM applications
- Experience with the following development disciplines: HTML, CSS, Java JDK8, Maven
- Java IOC Framework experience, preferably Spring 4
- REST / SOAP Integration and API development experience
- Good understanding of Queuing and Polling mechanisms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.)
Nice to Have
- Experience in the development of event-driven architectures
- Basic Windows Server administration
- Ability to visualizing in UML
- Knowledge of IP, UDP/TCP protocols
