The RoleVeeva’s Technical Services team provides world-class development solutions for our customers in the Life Sciences Industry. Our Services Products division builds and optimises innovative tools to support Integration as a Service (IAAS) engagements with our largest global customers.As a Consultant in the Services Products team, you will work across full-stack software design and development, manage/optimise existing AWS infrastructure and drive continuous improvement of the Services Product support model. Over time, your knowledge of Veeva Commercial product suites will develop and link into the overall Services Product approach.What You'll Do
- Development of IAAS (integration) tools. Full-stack design amp; development of available integration frameworks
- Design and development of new solutions on demand
- Maintain the IAAS AWS infrastructure (performance monitoring, security setup, patching, upgrade, user management)
- L2/L3 Support for IAAS project implementations (delivered by Professional/Technical Services team)
- Improvement of the existing solutions and processes
- Participate in IAAS project delivery on demand
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical/developer role
- 3+ years’ experience using Java programming language
- Experience in administration of Unix/Linux, Windows environments
- Strong understanding of SQL
- 2+ years experience working with (R)DBMS (Oracle, MySql, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, etc.)
- Experience with the following development disciplines: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML, Maven
- Experience in version control systems (Git, SVN, CVS, etc.)
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- AWS experience
- Worked with MVC frameworks (Spring MVC is preferred)
- ETL/Integration frameworks (Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend, TIBCO, etc.)
- Development of REST/SOAP API
- Experience in Salesforce.com platform or other cloud technologies
- Experience in ORM (JPA/Hibernate)
- Knowledge of Web design
