Senior PHP Developer - Loyalty team

Here at Mito, we love creating clever things: apps, websites and other complex, digital solutions for customers such as Wizz Air, OTP, and many others.
Our loyalty team could use a loyal PHP Backend Developer who is a real pro, so (s)he can turn the relationship between an existing backend system and its frontend into a match made in heaven. If you are not afraid of complexity, lead developers, tech leads, a dedicated tester, frontend professionals, long lists or lions, then read on, we’d love to hear from you.
Requirements
Your tasks will be.
- Developing custom integrations for our own and our technology partners’ systems
- Working on the maintenance of the existing code base to improve and add new features
- Reviewing your peers’ code and participating in the team’s planning process
- Testing and documenting applications
What we expect from you
- You are fluent in OO PHP (preferably 7.x).
- We use Phalcon and sometimes Yii2, but if you have experience with any other modern PHP framework (e.g. Symfony, Laravel, Zend/Lamins etc.) that’s totally okay.
- You handle databases with a steady hand both in the relational and NoSQL world.
- You are committed to commit: we use Git but it's fine if you’ve only encountered SVN so far.
- You are familiar with Docker, container technologies and cloud services.
- You’re fluent in Hungarian, since the day to day stuff mostly happens in this beautiful language, but your English has to be good enough to understand technical documents (if you’ve made it this far, you’ve probably passed the test).
We will be made massively happy if.
- You have experience with automated testing frameworks.
- You have experience with Phalcon and would love to use it.
- Your Linux knowledge is on user-level.
- You are a CI/CD fan, because we are, too.
- You know DDD and dare to use it.
