Job Description
The engineering team is looking for a Dev Ops engineer with strong Dev Ops interest and some experience to join our Budapest office. In this role, you will contribute to our product, our infrastructure and our testing framework with our development teams. The scope of the work is wide: you may deal with the internal services and also with our public cloud offer.
- Develop, deploy, and operate the RapidMiner cloud offerings
- Maintain and develop our deployment technologies
- Develop administration and/or management interfaces for our products
- Integrate external services with our own products
- Continues integrate the arising new features from developers and improve the speed of testing
- Introduce new solutions in day-to-day work
- Troubleshoot cloud issues together with the engineering teams
- Collaboration and Communication with the development teams
- Work in the Dev Ops team on internal infrastructure and product related projects
- Contribute to our testing framework
- Create and implement a strategy for the deployment of information security technologies
- Help to make security an integral part of the SDLC
While we have a work-from-anywhere policy, we require the applicant to be in the same time zone as the rest of the team to support efficient collaboration. Since culture and in-person meetings are important to us as well, being located in Hungary is preferred.

- Experience in Computer Science or Information Technology with focus on Dev Ops-related areas
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Commitment to solve customer problems and do detailed troubleshooting
- Technical requirements:
- Knowledge of cloud-based services (AWS, Azure),
- Experience with deployment and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker-compose)
- Familiarity with virtualization and container-based services (XEN, Docker)
- Technical knowledge of database and operating system security (Linux and Windows, common RDBMS)
- Experience with networking technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, SSL)
- Have interest in CI technology (Jenkins, Gradle, Git)
- Hands on experience in IT infrastructure architectures
