The RapidMiner development team is looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer for Machine Learning and Data Science to join them in Budapest (Hungary) with the option for remote work (full time or partially). You’ll be part of a team of engineers working on products which make data science more widely applicable and deployable in enterprise contexts. As part of this agile and product-oriented development team you will play an important role building the next generation of a web-based and cloud-ready RapidMiner platform, which allows individual users and data science teams to achieve better results with less effort. The team also maintains our integrations with Python-based solutions such as Notebooks and our In-Database workflow executions.

As a Software Engineer for Machine Learning and Data Science you will work closely with your team to solve complex problems that include designing and implementing products for brining together code-based, automated, and workflow-based approaches to data science and machine learning. You will ensure the seamless integration of the different approaches as well as supporting large enterprise data science teams in which different team members have different strengths.
You will support the integration of code-based (predominantly Python) data science solutions with RapidMiner workflows or RapidMiner's automated machine learning and data science solutions. You will also ensure that assets produced with these non-coding approaches can be utilized from Python as well. Finally, pushing the execution of data science workflows or machine learning model building into different parts of the infrastructure such as databases is a reality of many enterprise data science teams as well and is supported by our products.
