Job Description
Location: Hungary, home office
With customer needs growing steadily, we are expanding our Development teams.
What you will be working on: codebeamer is a high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade web application with Java/Spring on the backend and JavaScript/JQuery on the frontend.
Who you are: Ideally, your team should contain 5-7 Developers, including medior and senior colleagues, across Backend and Full Stack.
What you will do:
- Participate in the entire development lifecycle, focusing on feature development
- Find solutions to complex problems of 500k+ users
- Write clean code to develop functional web applications
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Run unit tests
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
Requirements
- BSc or MSc degree in Computer Engineering or related field
- Business fluent Hungarian and fluent English skills
- At least 3 years of experience using JAVA (EE or Spring)
- Quick understanding and command of an existing codebase
- Proactive, problem solving attitude
- Openness for learning and self-educating
- Experience with Spring boot or Spring MVC
- For Backend:
- Experience with multithreading and transaction management
- Experience on the database level with: SQL, JDBC, MySQL, Oracle
- For Full Stack:
- At least 3 years of experience in user interface development (Javascript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3)
- Experience in JSP and JQuery
- PostgreSQL experience
- Java webserver, Tomcat or other webserver technology
- SQL performance optimization skills
- CI/CD experience
- UX design experience
